This exploration journey is designed specifically for children, allowing them to deeply understand the historically rich and modern city of Beijing through hands-on experiences, meeting expectations for cultural literacy and creativity development.

Our research and study program places a strong emphasis on the transmission of traditional culture. Children will gain insights into Beijing's history, architecture, and art through on-site visits and hands-on practice, helping them better understand their cultural roots and enhance their sense of cultural identity.

Day by Day

Activity Details

Day 1 — Tiananmen

Watch the flag-raising ceremony and take part in a pattern-finding challenge, recording traditional architectural styles as groundwork for their designs. Children feel the power of the nation and the weight of history.

Day 2 — Summer Palace

Participate in cultural relic restoration and experience traditional Peking opera makeup, choosing traditional roof styles to inspire design ideas. Deepens understanding of classical garden art and Peking opera culture.

Day 3 — Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum

Create traditional crafts like snuff bottles, sugar figures, and shadow puppets, observing decorative patterns to design architectural elements. Builds practical skills and meticulous observation.

Day 4 — Cloisonné Art Museum

Learn the art of cloisonné and experience artistic creation, studying traditional color combinations to add creativity to their designs — the blend of art and design.

Day 5 — The Old City

Tour cultural landmarks such as Qianmen, Drum Tower, Confucius Temple, and Temple of Heaven, collecting cultural elements from old Beijing to integrate into their designs. A sense of belonging within the cultural history.

Day 6 — Summarization & Creation

Organize design concepts, integrating traditional and modern elements to complete design projects — cultivating project management and teamwork skills.

Day 7 — Presentation & Sharing

Children showcase their design works and share their creative experiences, enhancing self-confidence and expression skills while learning to appreciate others' creativity.
